Microbial activity is essential to the soil. Though we can’t see them in action without a microscope, beneficial soil bacteria are an active part of nutrient absorption, fixation, and spread within the soil. Without these microbes, the organic cycles that allow plants to naturally use nutrients will not work properly. The use of commodity fertilizers, fungicides, and pesticides can destroy these bacteria over time. Biofertilizers are designed to restore the soil’s beneficial bacteria and microbial health. These biological fertilizers contain beneficial bacteria cultures and nutrient solutions to support both plant and soil health.
PrimAgro N
Nitrogen Biofertilizer
Nitrogen is one of the hardest nutrients to manage in the soil. Part of this is due to the complex nature of the nitrogen cycle, which regulates plant-available nitrogen. Microbes play an important role in this cycle, and help to keep more plant-available nitrogen in the soil. PrimAgro N biofertilizer is formulated with 30% nitrogen, 1% sulfur, and 56.8 million Bacillus subtilis colonies per gallon, which is designed to restore nutrients and beneficial bacteria to the soil.
PrimAgro N can be applied in many ways, but it is not designed for foliar application. One exception to this is early topdress to small grain crops. Some burn can occur, but this has been shown to have no negative impact on subsequent growth and yield.
Note: PrimAgro N is not intended for foliar application, and can cause tissue damage in many crops.

PrimAgro P
Phosphorus Biofertilizer
PrimAgro P supplies phosphorus as well as nitrogen, potassium, sulfur, and essential soil bacteria. The phosphorus biofertilizer is designed to restore microbes that play a pivotal role in soil health and nutrient retention. The Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus methylotrophicus bacteria cultures break down organic matter in the soil and release plant-usable nutrients. This means PrimAgro P restores nutrients in the soil with the NPK solution, but also improves nutrient retention long-term.
